This is possibly the simplest system I have ever seen for adjudicating game action. So simple, in fact, that $16 is a bit steep for the book (hopes that the author is paying attention). A bit more 'crunch' on the subject of Goals & Details would have been nice, and a bit more 'character development' would be awesome. As it is, the game leaves too much room for 'That Player' to cause damage to the game (you know, the one guy that is always abusing every loophole and all the other PC's).The original system used blood type and birthday stereotypes- I don't know why this was dropped, as it adds so much more to the characters (and keeps 'That Player' from abusing the rather empty character sheet). Still, there is a lot to be said about the flexibility of the system, which could conceivably be used to simulate any type of situation. Some might require some adjusting on the 'Details' and 'Psychic Powers' rules... but you can pull it off. The website even suggests how for several popular settings.
Once you start playing, you find that the game's simple system is both its greatest strength and its own worst enemy. One of the best examples I have seen is where someone described a game that was going very well until someone decided to eavesdrop on a conversation behind a closed door- four girls tried to listen behind the door and three 'failed and got hurt!' Giving the 'Rival' free reign in describing the results of a failure means that 'That Player' can cause more trouble than ever. Character death is almost a given in any combat situation if 'That Player' is feeling the need to cause trouble. Of course, as there is absolutely nothing in the book that says one character's Psychic Power can't be "I can bring the dead back to life"- but still, it's a big annoyance.
The system's strength almost outweighs this drawback- and that is that there is 1.) minimum necessary die rolls and 2.) everyone has an active hand in darn near every scene. Things move fast and there is always shared action.
This isn't a game for irresponsible players, or 'angry' players- but it could be a good system for beginners and vets alike if the group is mature and cooperative.

The game is hilarious. You have to remember that this is not a serious game, but one made to be light entertainment, perhaps as a counterpoint to a more serious tabletop.
